This was surprisingly bigger than I expected - and even better looking in real life than in the pictures! The mushrooms are slightly elevated, giving them more depth than if they were just painted on. I had one small little nick or color missing but it doesn't bother me - though it might bother someone else. The butter dish arrives well packaged and other than that small blip of missing color (it really doesn't feel like a nick...) there were no issues. The mushroom butter dish works well in homey kitchens as well as kitschy kitchens and it is really nicely made. I like that it is bigger than the average butter dish, allowing me to add a second stick while the first stick still has 1/2 to 3/4 left, making it easier to keep spreadable butter on hand. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cute mushroom butter dish!
This dish is very cute and does fit a stick of butter. We use it to have room temp butter for bread and things. It works well and has not broke yet.

This butter dish is beautiful. It definitely gives a vintage appearance. It blends in so well with my antiques and other vintage items. I look forward to putting butter sticks in it and putting it out on my 1940’s bakers hutch for use. The colors are vibrant., and it was well packaged. I highly recommend this butter dish, plus it’s a affordable price..
