Comes with instructions. Laid out stick of butter this morning, by afternoon it's room temp. Filled bottom slowly to make sure I was not adding air pockets. Held entire stick with extra room, added cold water to line in well, now it’s ready to go. Love ❤️ that it hold entire stick with no issues.
This little crock is well made and the print is sort of embossed on the surface with raised texture—very cool. I love that they send you butter instructions, which you can pretty much modify to get your cool flavored butters, like honey cinnamon for rolls at Thanksgiving. The whole thing is very sturdy and ideal for the creation and storage of butter with its bell-like design and intention to get that craft butter set up. It’s also super easy to clean. It will stack in storage if it is the top item, but that’s no biggy. Overall, my wife loves it and is planning several buttery inventions! It’s a 5 for us.
This butter crock is absolutely adorable, exquisitely designed, and came free of any dings, chips, cracks, etc. Our entire house has a cottage core vibe to it, so this crock fits right in! I love how easy it is to refill the crock and that the bell holds an entire stock of butter. Functionality is wonderful and I'm just overall super pleased and impressed! Cute butter crock. It fits a full stick of butter and does have texture on the outside. The mushrooms and flowers on the outside of it are raised.
This butter dish is very pretty and well made, (just the right size for my table setting. I have not put butter in it yet but will and add to my review
